The work of ACG goes beyond the business.
We are strongly committed to our community. We believe
in giving back, helping out, pitching in. We are not
just business men and women; we are fathers, mothers,
friends, PTA members, volunteers. Simply put, we are
part of a larger community. We value that community
membership and have made community service a significant
part of how we define ourselves.
We actively support
the Living
Classroom Foundation, where Keith serves
as a board director. Living
Classrooms is a successful nonprofit organization in the Baltimore/Washington
area that provides hands-on education and job training
for students from diverse backgrounds, with a special
emphasis on serving at-risk youth.
Brian and his family
actively participate in a number of charities focused
on homelessness and children
including St. Vincent’s Center, a residential,
therapeutic group facility that serves children
ages 3 through
13 that have serious behavioral, psychiatric and/or
emotional problems.
In 2005, Brian and Keith created
A Child’s Pride
Foundation, an independent foundation dedicated
to programs that foster self esteem in children,
to further
their commitment to play an active role in the
bettering of our community. Each year, ACG contributes
a percentage
of its revenues to A Child’s Pride. Brian
and Keith are active directors along with an independent
group of committed individuals, all of whom give
their
time, and actively support the foundation’s
programs. |
