Keith Sullivan
Managing Partner
Armada Consulting Group
Keith Sullivan founded Armada
Consulting Group (ACG) with his longtime associate,
Brian Rogers. ACG helps companies secure health care
for their employees while keeping the rising cost of
health care manageable for employers. Sullivan has
considerable knowledge of the employee benefits field
and has extensive executive experience in the formation
and management of businesses.
Early in his career, Sullivan helped to develop and
build the employee benefit consulting practice of Solomon
Financial Services in Rockville, Maryland. When he
left Solomon he founded Healthcare Plan Management,
Inc. (HPM), also in Rockville, where he served as President
and Chief Executive Officer. The company provided sophisticated,
turnkey employee benefit plan design and management
services to mid-market companies. After merging HPM
in 1993 with United American Healthcare Corporation
(NYSE:UAHC), he continued his leadership role with
the new UAHC subsidiary, then called Corporate Healthcare
Financing, Inc. (CHF), where Sullivan served as Vice
Chairman and Executive Vice President.
In 1998 Sullivan led a management buyout of CHF, where
he joined forces with Rogers. Sullivan energized and
repositioned the company, rebranding the “new” company
PERFORMAX. As President and CEO of PERFORMAX, a health
benefits consultation and administration company that
managed over $600 million in premiums for customers,
Sullivan led the company to profitable expansion to
11 sales offices across the country, and an employee
and consultant staff of over 250 individuals, all through
organic growth. Sullivan sold his interest in PERFORMAX
in 2003.
Sullivan began his career with Home Life Insurance
after having received a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Management from University of Maryland,
College Park, Maryland in 1982.
